Project Details

Design Process
Understanding the project

This project was designed using google’s framework called design sprint. I started by setting up a meeting with the client to understand their goals and expectations regarding the project.

Benchmark & Competitor Analysis

Performing benchmark and competitor analyses can help you understand what already exists in the market, what competitors are offering, and how you can differentiate your product to create a better experience for users.

User Journey

This step is important because it helps you understand the user's experience of interacting with your product or service. It can help identify pain points, areas for improvement, and opportunities to differentiate your product.

Wireframes & Protoype

After collecting more information about the product, it’s time to visualize and test out the user experience of our product or service before investing time and resources into building the final product. This can help identify potential issues and areas for improvement early on, potentially saving time and money in the long run.

Web Design

The final UI of the Foodtrip website incorporates bright colors and images to represent the gastronomic experiences offered. The website design is consistent across all devices and screen sizes, following the website's design system to ensure a cohesive look and feel. Overall, the UI design is visually appealing and effectively communicates the nature of the product.

Responsive Design

This part is important because it ensures that the website is optimized for different screen sizes and devices, such as smartphones and tablets. This improved the user experience and made it easier for people to access the website through mobile.

💡 It was important to follow the website's design system. This ensured consistency across all devices and screen sizes, and helped users easily identify the website as belonging to Foodtrip.
